Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
When you order a VPS servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server includes no website hosting Control Panel at all, or when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin throughout the order process. In the first case, you can modify any part of the system via a Secure Shell console, while in the second, you'll still be able to use SSH to connect and to make changes, yet you will also have a graphical interface you can use to control your world wide web content and most of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server packages an excellent choice in case you would like to run any kind of software which you are unable to set up in a regular shared website hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect by way of SSH and to control the content on the hosting server, yet the root access rights will be more limited.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
When you choose the cPanel or the DirectAdmin website hosting Control Panel, you'll have full root access to your new dedicated server, regardless of which of our packages you will pick throughout the registration process. Exactly the same is valid when you decide not to install a Control Panel at all. Our servers will provide you with the possibility to run both very resource-demanding applications which are too heavy for a shared web hosting account and apps that have particular requirements as to what the software environment on your web hosting server needs to be. The latter is something which cannot be achieved on a shared machine, as no server-side software can be set up on it. The difference between the aforementioned choices is that without having a Control Panel, server management can be done only via a console, while if you acquire cPanel or DirectAdmin, the majority of system settings and your site content will be controlled via a graphical interface. If you select Hepsia, that is the last Control Panel option on the order page, you will have a server with restricted root access.
